Romans 12:1-2

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1-2

After a Long Winter

I absolutely love to blog.  It's my outlet. My family record.  I have been absent too long and as near as I can tell the reason is two-fold: winter blahs and feeling that teenagers don't want their information shared for the world.  Actually, now that M. and L. are in the Instagram world, they are more okay with me sharing pictures and things about them.

All April birthdays are behind us.  The first weekend of the month we celebrated M. with several friends at our house.  The following weekend was me with Aunt and M. and then the whole family at Genghis Grill (Hubby and L. were away repelling and getting poison ivy.).  Finally, last weekend our Texas family came for L's birthday (party with friends at our house) and Easter.

It was so fun to have a little one in the house again for a holiday!
