Romans 12:1-2

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1-2

Finished Not Complete

Christmas 2010, my Dad gave M and L a puzzle.  We started it last February when we were snowed in.

The puzzle has been on the dining room table all year.  I have slid it over for the boys to work on school projects, we've piled laundry from the dryer on top to be folded, and when we have company for dinner I just set everything right on top of the puzzle (I put the laundry away!).

Saturday night we made brownies and finished the maybe hundred pieces left.  Two pieces are missing.  M said that was pretty good considering it was out for a whole year.

 I told the boys that it was fitting that the puzzle was missing two pieces becaue our family is missing two - Grandpa and Nanny.

    Beautiful puzzle. I'm sorry about the missing pieces and the symbolism of those missing (((hugs))).

    I got your comment about the conference. Yay! I am really excited and praying to be filled in those empty spots that that need some TLC.
