Romans 12:1-2

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1-2

Counting My Blessings - Day 14

44. Saturday - We have had a whole Saturday, totally ours. No sports to rush to and no other commitments. Because of this I have had the blessing of: sleeping in, sitting in my rocker reading Scripture, walking J. in the park with M., going to the library, not hurrying while out grocery shopping, and sitting on the bed in long conversation with Hubby. I'm getting ready to make chili using my Mom's recipe. I love Saturdays!

Don't forget to join Tamara at Branch of Wisdom to read more blessings.

  2. Dear Annette...our Saturday was a homey one...with being able to tend to many little unfinished things around our home! Kind of a "catch-up" day. I feel like our home is in order...a nice calm feeling! Sunday blessings to you and yours! Hugs ♥ Teri
