Romans 12:1-2

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1-2

Counting My Blessings - Day 28

53. A new warm coat - I don't buy one very often - first winter coat in about 9 years. I feel very blessed to have one because I know others do without.

54. Care - it seems that since I'm in a classroom full-time now that I pick up every bug that goes around. Hubby was patient in caring for me last night when I was aching all over and having tummy pains.

55. Provision - I have heard lots of sad stories lately of people in need. I am blessed to have all my needs provided and blessed to be able to help others.

56. A day out with Aunt - as soon as I finish blogging and take a shower, Aunt will be here to get me for a trip over to Siloam Springs for the Dayspring Warehouse Outlet Sale!

You'll be blessed by reading A Month of Thanksgiving at Branch of Wisdom. Check it out or even participate, there's still time!

  1. Annette, I love the blessings you shared today. They made me thank the Lord for His provision in my own life. And a day at an outlet sale! How fun! I hope you have a wonderful time.

    Love,
    Christine

  2. Thank you for sharing your blessings today. I'm enjoying reading about the things both big and small that are blessing people. It reminds me of how many things there are in my life for which I need to be thankful.

  3. Thank you for sharing these blessings with us today! We've been catching every bug, too...like you, we found a blessing in it, though (it's my post for tomorrow).
We have much to be thankful for, don't we?
    Blessings,
