Romans 12:1-2

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1-2

Counting My Blessings

It's wonderful to continue this blessings meme that Tamara started - it can now be found at Homemaker's Heart.

64. "Aunt" is a blessing. Near the end of school today, the office called my room and said that Aunt was on the phone and wanted to know if she could pick L. up at school. Absolutely! What a treat for him to not have to ride the bus and to get home early! Aunt stayed quite a while and played games with the boys and then joined us to meet Hubby at Wendy's for dinner before we had to do errands and get M. to basketball practice.

It made me reflect on what a blessing it is to have Aunt as an influence on our boys. I'm truly thankful.
