Romans 12:1-2

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1-2

Spring Has Sprung

It is definitely Spring here! My allergies can attest to it too - it seems no matter how I try to stay on top of it that I suffer, sigh!

There are some other signs of Spring too....

Hubby is getting the lawn ready. He also took the bird nests down. Please, hear me out...I know that doesn't sound very springlike or even kind. We had not one, but two nests right above the front door all last spring and summer. I'm not a bird lover, and I especially can't stand them diving for their nest as I'm walking out the door (I hated even more the time one came inside the house!) It's spring and we've had new? (who knows?) birds on the front porch. Hubby loves all creatures and couldn't bear the thought of taking down a bird's nest. It was an act of love for me.

There are new flags on the metal baskets at the disc golf course in the park, state testing is looming around the corner, spring soccer has started, people are starting to get ready for graduation and of course - birthdays - we'll have three in the first 19 days of April!
